FAQ

How does an agent pay for a search tool without an account?

The server replies HTTP 402 with a price quote. Your agent's x402 client signs a USDC payment from its wallet and retries the call, which then succeeds. No signup, no API key — the payment is the authentication.

What does the verified badge mean?

Before a listing earns the ✓, TOLL·402 makes a real paid call to the endpoint and checks that it settles on-chain and returns the documented output. We re-verify periodically and drop the badge if a check fails.

Are there any platform fees on top of the listed price?

No. The price on each row is what your agent pays the provider directly, settled peer-to-peer in USDC over x402. TOLL·402 is a directory — it doesn't sit in the payment path.
