Rank is cumulative USDC, so every bid counts and nothing is wasted. Each category has its own #1 and an unclaimed one costs the $1 minimum — reachable on the default x402 spend cap. GET /api/board returns crowns and cheapest_crown with exact prices. Bids are final.
